A number of small items that I did not finish in time for Trumpeter's were first on the list. Some resin ladders from Firedragon Games:
A metal supply wagon from Warlord Games:
And a metal hay wagon from Elladan (a very nice little kit):
Currently on the work bench are some more of Jeff's ECW cavalry and some trees and a couple of bridges for our Battle of Gaines Mill which we will be fighting on June 2nd:
I recently received my first Empress figures; two teams of oxen with limbers. I really look forward to painting them; there are no other oxen teams for the ECW available that I know of in 28mm.
Great to see you back in the hobby-chair, so to speak ;-) . Some very interesting additions. I have just picked up a couple of the new Warlord horse drawn limbers, but some oxen powdered ones would be great as well, so very interested to see your Empress ones painted up. The ladders and hay-wagon also need further investigation - thanks for the links. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteThe Elladan stuff is very nice, and I just noticed that he has a team of oxen as well. I too have ordered the new Warlord horse and limber; I am just awaiting it's arrival.
DeleteA lot of nifty additions to your project. Empress makes fantastic ECW figures.
ReplyDeleteThank you JF. I look forward to painting them. The Empress figures have a very distinctive style. I might grab either an artillery piece or some musketeers from them in the future.
DeleteSplendid pictures, love the wagons!
ReplyDeleteA nice assortment there. I have few regiments of Empress ECW figures primed and ready to go, and I really like the look of them.
ReplyDeleteI love all the new additions!
ReplyDeleteThe next siege is going to look even better!
ReplyDeleteI have some oxen teams, they are bloodaxe though, so they could be from any period from ancients to gunpowder
Very nice. ECW is a periid I am just starting to look at in 28mm.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Ross
